Ben Kim



Hailed by critics and audiences alike for his charismatic performances, 28-year-old BEN KIM’s burgeoning career has taken him worldwide after having won First Prize at the ARD Munich International Music Competition in 2006.


He has toured through Europe, the USA, and Asia, performing with prestigious orchestras at such venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Suntory Hall, and the Gewandhaus, in addition to performances at the prestigious festivals including Aspen, Ravinia, Ruhr, Kissingen and Salzburg.


At 20, Ben finished a Bachelor’s degree at the Peabody Conservatory as a student of Leon Fleisher, who has observed Ben’s “enormous potential for a first-class career.”  He has also studied with Yong Hi Moon as a candidate for Peabody’s Artist Diploma program and currently studies with Klaus Hellwig at the University of Arts Berlin in Germany.
