Edgar Krapp was born in 1947 in Bamberg, Germany. His name is renowned to all over the world as the only organist who recorded Handel's "The complete works for organ and harpsichord". In 1983, he received the Frankfurt Music Award for his academic and artistic achievement. Krapp's repertoire covers from the early baroque to modern works and his three discs were awarded the German Record Grand Prix.
