Eric Heidsieck was strongly influenced by the famous pianist and teacher, Alfred Cortot. Since his debut in '55, he has been toured as a rising star of the music world in France. His prowess comes to particular prominence in Mozart. He has played in most of the music capitals with high acclaimed. As a recording artist, he has released many titles from EMI, Victor, and several other labels. In '05, his recitals and the concert with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra or with chamber ensemble were widely successful in Japan.
