Monika Fabianová



She was born in Slovak town Banska Bystrica. She studied opera voice at the Conservatory in Žilina with prof. E.Sadloňova and  Academy of Performing Arts Bratislava under tutelage of Vlasta Hudecova.  During her study she learnt several parts at Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava. Since 2003 she´s  been an opera solist at Slovak National Theatre. Moreover and she´s been collaborated with Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra in Bratislava. In 2004 she sang at the concert of young slovak opera talents in opera of National Theatre in Warszaw. Besides, she cooperated with Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra in opera Carmen. Since 2005 she´s been singing in Janacek opera in Brno and since 2008 she´s  been  collaborating with National Theatre in Prague. She took part in opera festival in hungarian Miskolc twice. She is a permanent guest of the state opera in Banska Bystrica and Kosice. She is engaged in chamber music and she cooperates with State chamber orchestra in Žilina. Sofar, she´s been conducted by  conductors  such as M.Munari,  W. Kobéra, etc. She worked with directors such as  Peter Konwitschny and  Gintaras Varnas.  She performed in European countries several times.
