Born in Tokyo. Studied violin and piano from an early age under the guidance of her grandfather, Kenshu Wanibuchi, who served as concertmaster of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Her mother is actress Haruko Wanibuchi. Graduated from the vocal music department of Senzoku Gakuen College of Music and the vocal music department of the University of Music Cologne.
She has appeared mainly at the Cologne Chamber Opera, Hanau City Opera, and Lindau City Theater, as Pamina and Papagena in the opera "The Magic Flute," Laura in the operetta "The Student Beggar," Adele in "Die Fledermaus," Euridice in "Orpheus in the Underworld," and the fairy in the play "The Snow Queen." At the Aachen City Opera, she sang Zerlina in "Don Giovanni." She appeared as Pamina in the opera "The Magic Flute" at the Summer Festival in Bruck, Austria. She performed many Japanese songs in her recital at the Salzburg Festival Theater in Austria. After returning to Japan, she energetically engaged in concert activities in parallel with her work as a mother. Her repertoire is wide, including jazz, children's songs, popular songs, lyric songs, Japanese songs, and crossover music.
As a TV personality, she has appeared in commercials for "Tiramisu Chocolate" and "Lotteria" (Lotte). She has also appeared on many TV programs, including TV Asahi's "Tetsuko's Room," Nippon Television's "A Deep and Good Story in One Minute That Will Change Your Life," BS Nippon Television's "Recommended! A 3-Day Trip Through the Night," NHK's "German on TV," and BS Fuji's "Quiz! Brain Bell Show," and has also served as the MC for many travel programs.
From 2003 to 2013, she taught the next generation of music as a music teacher at the Municipal School of Art and Music in Cologne, Federal Republic of Germany.
